Meniscus Tears
Meniscus Tears are a common injury that can be caused by a variety of things. In the most extreme cases, Meniscus Tears can be caused by contact sports such as football, basketball and rugby. But more often than not they are caused by something else.
The pain of a Meniscus Tear can range from a dull ache to a sharp, throbbing sensation depending on the severity of the tear. More severe tears will have more intense pain while mild tears will have less intense pain.
Meniscus Tears are extremely common in professional athletes and people who participate in high intensity sports such as crossfit or marathons because their knees take a lot of impact from repetitive motion.
